Roxie Maisel is a New York City based filmmaker and writer/ performer who specializes in comedy.  She is finishing an MFA in Film Post-Production at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.

Roxie has written, directed, edited, and acted in two original short films:

  • Editor: “Pillowman” (2024, dir. Dawn Kalani Cowle), a comedy short adaptation of the stage play by Martin McDonaugh.
  • Editor & Music Composer: “The Cohort” (2024), a single-camera mockumentary about a cutthroat group of creative writing students. 
  • Assistant Editor: “Sunny Side of the Street” (2024), a coming-of-age dramatic short by Alexandra Alston.

Roxie is also a self-produced recording artist and a seasoned musical theatre writer, composer, and performer:
